Beautiful Scotland Awards 2012

At today’s Beautiful Scotland Awards Cumbernauld was presented with a Silver Award in the Small City category. Airdrie and Coatbridge were in the same category and also received Silver Awards but unfortunately Airdrie’s score was a little higher than ours and they picked up the silverware. The important thing is we have maintained the Silver Award level of acheivement which many struggle to do. We will receive our scoring sheets shortly which will allow us to see exactly in what areas we need to improve for next year. A big thank you to all the groups who were involved in this year’s judging. The work starts now for Beautiful Scotland 2013.

A full report on the Beautiful Scotland Awards will follow shortly.
